Logitech Gaming Software No Admin

SOLUTION: I simply closed the Logitech gaming software, and reopened it as an administrator. It picked up the mouse immediately from there. Any time I want to change settings I need to reopen the software as an admin, but the mouse saves the settings so i don’t really need to change anything past my initial setup at all.

So here's my situation: I bought a G303 mouse last week, installed Logitech Game Software on my comp with Windows 10, and I had no real problems. Everything was working like a charm. Then today, I bought the g710+ keyboard, and installed LGS for it as well. Everything registered and worked fine. Then I ran into problems setting the G keys on my keyboard. Nothing worked. No matter how I set it up. This is my first real gaming keyboard setting macros, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was user error. I check in the Logitech community forums for advice on setting my key bindings. One thread suggested that it could be that LGS did not install correctly. It recommended uninstalling and reinstalling with admin privileges. I did just that. Now here's the problem: LGS is not installing correctly at all, no matter what I do. Whenever I run the installer, it tells me it ran successfully, but there's no data for it in my Programs folder, nothing in my AppData, not even in the start menu. I've tried reinstalling with admin privileges, installing 8.00, 8.58, and 8.30, running in compatibility mode, and even going into rededit and deleting anything to do with Logitech, and the program still won't run. And the best part is the keyboard and mouse still work. I just can't set my macro's or customize the colors on the mouse. Y'know, the very reasons these things are so expensive. If anyone can help with this please do because I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

EDIT: a few days later, problem solved :). I will leave this post for anyone in the future with the same problem.

if this solution doesn’t work for you, try the two I listed below previously. They seem to have worked for some other people.

Thanks to you guys who tried to help me out in the comments :) //end edit

Logitech Gaming Software No Admin Windows 7

So I'm having issues with the gaming software not detecting the mouse I just got.

Logitech Gaming Software Download

I followed a few different instructions and nothing seems to be working for me. The software is able to detect my keyboard just fine, but my mouse never shows up in the bottom toolbar.

I tried to uninstall the software, restart my computer, reinstall it, then restart again when the installation prompted me to do so, and that didn't seem to work.

I also tried to go into my device manager, and manually get it to install the drivers for the mouse because under 'mouse and pointing devices' it was just showing for me as an HID-compliant mouse.

When navigating to the correct folder it still just told me my drivers for the mouse are up to date, and no further installation was needed.

I tried doing both of these things a few times each, but nothing seems to be working for me.

Has anyone run into this problem, and has anyone come up with another fix for this? I'd like to be able to adjust my DPI through the gaming software because the lowest one is not low enough for me.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer in advance, I look forward to hearing back and hopefully I can get this problem solved!
