Remastered Music: The full Planescape: Torment soundtrack has been remastered in-game to add more depth to Sigil and the multiverse.
- There's no direct story ties between Planescape Torment and Torment: Tides of Numenera, only thematic ties. It's not necessary to play PS:T before playing TTON. You guys really shouldn't have pushed the P:T connection - now everyone seems to think its a P:T sequal and so you're going to see these threads pooping up even more frequently now that.
Planescape: Torment is built on BioWare's Infinity Engine, which presents the player with a pre-rendered world in an isometric perspective in which player characters are controlled. The game's role-playing ruleset are based on those of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition.
Alrighty....I'd never even heard of planescape torment before two months ago, but between hearing an onslaught of praise from all sorts of people whose opinions I respect and the whole kickstarter I've decided I need to experience this classic game. I have the most basic knowledge of the game and lore: Don't mess with the lady of pain, main character can't die, he's covered in burns, and that's about it.
