Dk2 Driver For Windows 10

Hi All,

Deskey Dk2 Driver for Windows 7 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, Windows 10, 8, XP. Uploaded on 4/24/2019, downloaded 3296 times, receiving a 91/100 rating by 2024 users. Oculus SDK for Windows 1.3.2. The 1.3.2 release focuses on performance improvements and minor bug fixes. Remove it and place it on a flat surface for 10-15 seconds. The keyboard and mouse do not work in Oculus Home. To select an item, gaze at it and select it using the Oculus Remote or Xbox controller. For dual-boot systems using DK2.

I have a Oculus Rift DK2 VR headset. I tried using it on my laptop with AMD 8850M graphics running Windows 10 with the latest Fall creators update installed. The problem is that the device is not at all recognized as a display by Windows and the led on the headset remains orange or turns of. I have tried different drivers for my AMD card starting from the stock Windows 10 drivers to latest drivers provided by AMD (17.10 as of date) and also have tried different Oculus runtime's (0.7, 0.8 and the latest runtime provided by Oculus CV1 setup). None of this have made any difference. I rolled back the update to 15063.674, installed the latest AMD drivers and Oculus runtime and voila the headset is detected as a display and the led is a nice and constant blue (like it should be).

I would like to know why this issue is cropping up and how to solve it before the Fall creators update is shoved down my throat and my device becomes unusable. Is this because of MS releasing their own set of Mixed reality headsets and providing built-in VR/AR support that is obstructing the functionality?

Any help/reply is appreciated.

Driver

Thanks.
